Obituary of Gonzalo Jalomo

Gonzalo Jalomo, 70, of Blue Island, passed from this life Monday, November 29, 2021. Gonzalo was born January 10, 1951 in Soledad, San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Maria Almendariz and the late Ruperto Jalomo. He was a faithful member of St. Benedict Parish. Gonzalo retired from Allied Tube after 42 years of employment. He was a Master Griller and enjoyed making meals for his family and friends. Gonzalo loved dancing and listening to music. He often could be found at various sporting events, cheering on his grandchildren! Gonzalo is the beloved husband of Maria De La Luz Regalado Jalomo. He is the loving father of Jaime (Renee) Jalomo, Patricia (Arthur) Mendez, Norma Jalomo and Griselda Jalomo. Gonzalo is the cherished grandfather of Elizabeth (Ron) Lundgren, Julian, Isabella, Vincent, Samantha, Jonathan, Nikolas, Jasmine, Alexis and Angel and the proud great grandfather of Damian, Ximena and Alexa. He is the dear brother of Daniel Jalomo, Luis Jalomo, Guadalupe Jalomo, Maria de Jesus Jalomo, Maria de Carmen Jalomo, Antonio Jalomo, Martin Jalomo, Alicia Jalomo and Eva Jalomo. Visitation for Gonzalo will be held Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 3:00 pm until 8:00. Chapel prayers will begin Monday at 10:00 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island, then to St. Benedict Church for mass at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at St. Casimir Cemetery, Chicago.
