Obituary of Joseph C. Parker Jr.

Joseph C. Parker Jr., 74, of Chicago, passed from this life Tuesday, August 3, 2021. Joe was born May 17, 1947 in Chicago to the late Santa nee Angelair and the late Joseph Charles Parker Sr. He attended St. Christina Elementary School and Little Flower High School. Joseph was a United States Army veteran. He was an expert fantasy football legend and a music aficionado. However, nothing made him happier than his three granddaughters. Joe is the beloved father of Corrie (Tom) Dalton and Adam (Heidi) Parker. He is the devoted grandfather of Shannon, Emma and Claire. Joe was the dear brother of the late Tom Parker and the late Nancy Parker. He is the best friend of his former wife, Deborah Parker, who also was his barber, personal shopper and chaufer! A Celebration of Joe's life will be held Friday, August 13, 2021 at 11:30 am at St. Christina Church, 3342 W. 111th St., Chicago.
