Obituary of Louis R. Voltolina

Louis R. Voltolina, 84, of Blue Island, passed from this life Tuesday, August 3, 2021. Louis was a United States Army veteran. He was a devoted family man and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Louis was a faithful member of St. Benedict Parish. He was an active member of St. Benedict Athletic Club and the Men's Club. Louis was the beloved husband of the late Margaret M. Voltolina nee Duncan, who passed away January 6, 2019. He is the loving father of Daniel (Judy) Voltolina, Gary (Krista) Voltolina, Jeff (Tessy) Voltolina, Linda (late Gene) Voltolina-Satter, Sandra Voltolina, Gregory Voltolina and the late Kathleen Voltolina. He is the cherished grandfather of Brittni (Ryan), Alyssa, Dominic, Dana, Sarah (Jake), Heather (Devin), Jeremy, Raymond, Lindsey (David), Dakota (Danielle), Katelin, Elizabeth, Kyle and Ava and the devoted great grandfather of Haley, Logan, Giavanna, Mia, Bella, Amelia, Sadie, Gunner and Elyse. He was the dear brother of the late Leslie (Sharon), late Edward (Patricia), late Frank (late Carol) and late Robert (late Nancy) and the brother in law of Michael (Nancy) Duncan and David (Annamay) Duncan. Louis was the uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation, Thursday, August 5, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Chapel prayers Friday, 10:30 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island then to St. Benedict Church, 2339 York St., Blue Island for Mass at 11:30 a.m. Interment St. Benedict Cemetery, Crestwood.
