Obituary of Sharon M. Reyes

Sharon M. Reyes nee McCarthy, 75, of Blue Island, formerly of Roseland, passed from this life July 17, 2021. Sharon is the beloved mother of Danielle (Joel) Wilson, James (Danielle) Allard, Linda Reyes and Dennis (Stacey) Wilson. She is the adored grandmother of Daniel, Ana, Zachary, Joshua, Jeremy, Christopher, Jacob, Brandon, Kaylee and Skylar and the proud great grandmother of Kaleb. Sharon is the dear sister of Shirley Fentem. Sharon was born March 24, 1946 in Evergreen Park to the late Lillian L. nee Stumpf and the late John J. McCarthy. She was formerly employed by Ingalls Hospital as a financial counselor. Sharon enjoyed sewing and was a phenomenal seamstress. She was kindhearted and had a passion for helping others. Many people were given shelter and care in her home and often times she was a "Mom" to all. Visitation for Sharon will be held Wednesday, July 21, 2021, from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Cremation will be private.
