Obituary of Leo Ortiz

Leo Ortiz, 94, of Calumet Park, passed from this life Sunday, July 11, 2021. Leo was the beloved husband of the late Vera. He is the loving father of Michael, Mark and Nancy Ortiz. Leo is the cherished grandfather of Eric and Hillary. He is the proud great grandfather of Coen Murphy. Leo is the dear brother of Eddie, Suzy and the late Eustaquio, Vincent, Frank, George, Pauline, Virginia and Margaret. Leo was born March 13, 1927 in Blue Island to the late Santos and Pablo Ortiz. He was a United States Navy veteran. Leo was formerly employed by Sherwin Williams as a warehouse foreman. He was a proud member of the Blue Island Eagles. A Memorial Service for Leo will be held Friday, July 16, 2021 at 10:30 am. Cremation will be private.
