Obituary of Saul R. Duran

Saul R. Duran, 63, of Alsip, passed from this life Friday, May 7, 2021, at AMITA Health Adventist Medical Center in Hinsdale. Saul is the beloved husband of Minerva nee Mendez, loving father of Rebecca Duran (Flores), Elizabeth Duran, Jennifer Duran and Arasally Duran, devoted grandfather of Xavier, Jayla, Evan and Gabriel, dear brother of nine and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Saul was born August 17, 1957 in Chicago to the late Macrina H. nee Hernandez and the late Lucio Duran. He was employed as a mechanic and a truck driver, delivering fresh produce. Saul was a handyman and enjoyed working with his hands. He was a car enthusiast and loved both working on cars and teaching others about them. Visitation for Saul will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021, from 3:00 pm until the time of service at 7:00 pm. Cremation will be private.
