Obituary of Maria Sanchez

Maria Sanchez, 54, of Harvey, passed from this life Saturday, April 17, 2021. Maria is the beloved wife of Antonio Sanchez. She is the devoted mother of Felipe (Maria Vianey) Gomez. Maria is the cherished grandmother of Daianna Gomez and Daleyza Gomez. She is the cherished sister of Soledad Gonzalez, Rogelio Gomez and Antonio Gomez and the dear aunt of Noe Gonzalez, Jorge Gonzalez, Alondra Gonzalez, Natali Gonzalez and Jesus Gonzalez. Maria was born August 26, 1966 in Mexico to the late Maria Teresa Gomez and Ernesto Gomez. She was a devoted homemaker and mother, but nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her granddaughters. They were her world. Visitation for Maria will be held Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at St. Stanislaus Church, 14414 McKinley Ave., Posen. Holy mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 am at the church. Interment will take place at St. Casimir Cemetery in Chicago.
