Obituary of Shane B. Palenica

Shane B. Palenica, 42, of Alsip, formerly of Blue Island, passed from this life Friday, July 24, 2020. He is the beloved husband of Leslie R. Marsh and the the loving step-father of Erin Conboy and Kyle Royce. He is the devoted Papa of Allison, Parker, Molly and Ellie and the dear brother of Steven (Darlene) Palenica. Shane was born April 18, 1978 in Blue Island. His greatest pleasure was riding his motorcycle accompanied by his wife, Leslie. Shane also enjoyed race cars and owned many over the years. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 31, 2020 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Cremation was private. Due to the Covid 19 restrictions, all precautions must be adhered to and will be enforced. All visitors must have facial coverings and follow social distancing standards of 6 feet. The number of visitors will be monitored and it is requested that you refrain from physical contact.
