Obituary of Nancy Vecchitto

Nancy A. Vecchitto, 70, of Oak Forest and formerly of Blue Island, passed from this life Thursday, July 23, 2020. Nancy is the beloved sister of James J. Vecchitto and the loving aunt of Rhonda Knight, Shaun Rice and Brian Rice. She was the dear niece of the late Carmella (the late Buck) DiGuido. Nancy was born November 6, 1949 in Blue Island to the late Marie C. nee Marzano and Vincenzo Vecchitto. She resided in Blue Island until the age of thirteen, at which time she relocated to Calumet Park until the age of thirty. In 1988 she moved to Oak Forest. Nancy was formerly employed as a legal secretary. She was an avid reader and loved to travel aboard cruise ships. Cremation was private. A memorial service will be held in the future.
