Obituary of Edward Clayton Michener Jr.

Edward "Puggy" Michener, 74, of Harvey, formerly of Beverly, passed from this life Wednesday, July 31, 2019. He is the loving father of Edward (Lisa) Michener and the devoted grandfather of Jackson Michener. Ed is the dear brother of Virginia Michener and Elisabet (Keld) Christensen. He also leaves other family members and friends to cherish his memory.

Edward was born March 6, 1945, in Chicago to the late Louise May nee Goodpaster and Edward Clayton Michener Sr. He was a United States Army veteran serving in Vietnam from 1966-1967 with the First Air Cavalry. Puggy was the former proprietor of Beverly Antiques, which was located in Beverly and Blue Island. He was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed boating, water skiing and scuba diving.

Visitation for Edward will be held Sunday, August 4, 2019, from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Cremation will be private.
