Loving father of Bob (Nancy) Jacobson Jr., Ricky (Diane) Jacobson, Mark Balnius, Julie Draves, Peter Balnius and Paul Balnius, devoted grandfather of Becky (Mark) Munsinger, Eric Jacobson, Jennie Jacobson, Jillian (Tim) Maes, Nicole Jacobson, the late Mark Balnius Jr., Michael Balnius, Spencer Balnius, Elliott Balnius, Natalie Balnius and Emily Balnius, proud great grandfather of four. Robert was a WWII United States Marine Corp veteran. He retired as a garage supervisor after 38 years of employment with the US Post Office, after retirement he worked for Silver Lake Country Club. He was a former member of the American Legion.
