Obituary of Catherine E. "Kay" Thomas

Catherine E. "Kay" Thomas nee Tenhaeff, 99, of Blue Island. She was the beloved wife of the late Cornelius Thomas. Catherine is the loving mother of Fred W. Thomas. She is the cherished grandmother of Brett Thomas and Emilie Thomas and the proud great grandmother of Nova Thomas. Catherine is the dear sister of the late Wayne Tenhaeff, Lois Braxton, the late Arch Tenhaeff and Audrey McClung. Catherine has been a resident of Blue Island since 1947. She was a lifetime member of Grace United Methodist Church and was formerly the secretary of the church. Catherine was a charter member of South Suburban Business and Professional Womens' Club. She enjoyed being outdoors gardening. A private interment of cremains will take place at Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery, Oak Lawn, IL.
