I found these in Irene’s roll top desk and thought wow what a life she has lived and what changes she has seen. She is a amazing woman who carries strength and wisdom with her always. I am very grateful for the last four years, I’m grateful that I got to meet her and spend time and hear the stories of her life. Even in her elderly years she was as feisty as she was when she was a kid sitting on the kitchen counter, dipping her tomato in the sugar bowl while being told not to by her mom. I’ll miss you and our talks Irene but I’m glad you are at rest now.
