Obituary of Ronald E. Bechtel Sr.

Ronald E. Bechtel Sr., 71, of Merrionette Park, formerly of Calumet Park, passed from this life Thursday, November 15, 2018. 

Ron was the beloved husband of the late Nannette "Cookie" nee Manno who passed away February 18, 2002. He was the loving father of the late Gina Marie Bechtel, Steven Bechtel and Ronald Bechtel Jr. Ron is the adored grandfather of Kayla Bechtel and the dear brother of Alan "Buddy" Bechtel, Patricia Calich and the late Arlene Bechtel.

Ron has been a resident of Merrionette Park for over thirteen years, prior to that he was a resident of Calumet Park for many years. He was formerly employed by the Village of Calumet Park Public Works Department.

A memorial visitation for Ron will be held Friday, November 23, 2018, from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Cremation will be private.
