Obituary of Robert Antonio Martinez

Robert Antonio Martinez, 49, of Blue Island, passed from this life Monday, April 30, 2018. He is the loving father of Erica Tolve, Kathryn "Katie" Martinez and Kayla Theilgaard. Robert is the beloved son of Manuel Martinez and Kathryn E. nee Sperry. He is the dear brother of Petra (Bill) Mosel, Mary (Ray) Bruno, Rosalinda (Sergio) Barbosa, Manuel (Sylvia) Martinez and Andrew Martinez. Robert leaves many other family members and friends to cherish his memory.

Robert was passionate about bowling and participated in leagues both at Eagle Bowling Alley and Burr Oak Bowl. He also enjoyed to play softball and was an avid fan of the Chicago White Sox.

Visitation for Robert will be held Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11:00 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Interment will be held at First Ev. Lutheran Cemetery in Alsip.
