Obituary of Juan Manuel Corona

Juan Manuel Corona, 36, of Calumet City, formerly of Roseland, passed from this life Monday, April 2, 2018 at Franciscan St. Margaret Health Center in Hammond, Indiana.

Juan is the beloved husband of Claudia Rostro-Corona. They have been united in marriage for fifteen years. He is the devoted father of Juan Pedro Corona, Elias Manuel Corona and Ilani Victoria Corona. Juan is the loving son of Salvador Corona and Olga Diaz and the cherished brother of Olga N. Corona, Daisy Corona and Crystal Corona. He is the dear uncle of Baby Antunez, Ruby Antunez, Lexxi Centeno, Reyna Calvillo, Raymond Calvillo, Delilah Reynoso, Adrian Rodriguez, Rogelio Angel Rostro and Oziel Rostro. He is the trusted godfather of Adrien Moreno and also his nephews Rogelio and Oziel. Juan is the adored grandson of Guadalupe Espinosa and the late Salvador Corona, Juan Diaz and Jovita Delfin. He leaves many other family members and friends to cherish his memory.

Juan was a devoted family man and friend who always put others first. He was a gifted artist who often designed his own tattoos. Juan enjoyed music and also had a desire to always keep up with the latest trends in technology.

Visitation for Juan will be held Friday, April 6, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Holy mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 am at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 11533 S. Prairie Ave., Chicago.
