Obituary of Sarah Leal

Sarah Leal nee Sotelo, 69, of Blue Island, passed from this life Thursday, January 11, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Salvador Leal. Sarah is the loving mother of Christina (Mario) Rodriguez and Monica Leal. She is the devoted grandmother of Nicholas Rodriguez and Amadeus Rodriguez. Sarah is the cherished sister of the late Raymond, the late George, the late Olivia, Aurora, Richard, Raul, Ophelia, Edward and John. She is the dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Sarah was retired from Cook County Hospital where she was employed as a Financial Supervisor.

Visitation for Sarah will be held Sunday, January 21, 2018, from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Chapel prayers will be conducted Monday at 9:00 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island, then to St. Benedict Church, 2339 York St., Blue Island, for mass at 10:00 am. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip.
