I want to extend sympathy to Debbie and family.
Barry and I became acquainted while working at the Trane Company.
We would car pool together to Itasca every day. We had a lot of time to share with each other.
Through those car rides we became close. He even set up Trane night at Raceway Park where We gave away a free furnace.
Barry was a craftsman fabricating sheet metal for the Trane Home Comfort Center.
When I started my business I really wanted him to come and work with me.
He laughing said The rides too long and wanted to spend more time with Debbie and children.
As life has it he had his family life and I had mine.
Lost touch over the years and now here I am just finding out a friend from a long time ago has passed.
So sad, he was a great guy!

I met Barry when I was a teen. He was with Ray Wroblewski and Jerry Parker. In his lifetime Barry became a son, a man, a husband, a father, a grandfather, a brother, an uncle and a friend to many. He was genuine. Even now, when I think of him, Bob Talaski, Roger Smith and Ray are right there with him. He was an ambassador for Raceway Park. I remember how hard he worked with Deb and Darlene reviving the post season banquets in the late 1980's. If you wanted to test a car, call Barry. If you needed a donation, call Barry. If the beer wasn't cold, yes, call Barry. He always tried to be as fair as possible. In my time there with Larry Middleton, Ted Moore, Tom O'Leary, Dave Duckworth and Mike Tobuch, we always appreciated the efforts of Barry and the Jenin family. The man of few words will be missed by many. Thank you, Barry. Checkered Flag! Rest in peace.
