Obituary of Richard Harry Shouse

Richard H. Shouse, 86, of Blue Island. He was the beloved husband of the late Kathleen nee Tippit. He is the  loving father of Richard R. Shouse, the late Barbara Johnston, Debra (Chris) Pocius and John (Tiffanie) Shouse. Richard is the devoted grandfather of David Johnston, Timothy Johnston, Richard Buergel-Shouse,  Aubrianna Buergel-Shouse, Mason Pocius, Barbara Shouse and Gavin Shouse. He is the dear brother of Robert Shouse and the late Donald Shouse and Roy Shouse.

Richard was a United States Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War from 1951-1955. He was a retired employee of Shepherd High School District 218 and North American Car Company. 

Visitation for Richard will be held Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, 10:00 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Interment will take place at First Ev. Lutheran Cemetery, Alsip.
