Brenda April Mares, 22, of Blue Island, passed from this life Wednesday, November 1, 2017. She is the cherished daughter of Martin Mares and Kelly Sheridan and the loving step daughter of Debbie Wilson. Brenda is the cherished sister of Brooke Sheridan, Danny Sheridan, Angie Fischer, Marty Mares, Maria Mares, Kelly Mares and Lizzy Mares. She is the loving niece, cousin and friend of many. Brenda loves music and singing. She enjoys kids and animals, especially her kittens Bones and Athena. Brenda had a heart of gold, and was so loved by all who knew her. Visitation for Brenda will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 10:00 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Interment will take place at St. Benedict Cemetery, Crestwood.
