Obituary of Rafael Chico Jr.

Rafael Chico Jr., 58 of Alsip, passed from this life November 2, 2017. He is the husband of Linda Chico and the former husband of Regine Smith . Rafael is the beloved father of Oliver Chico and the loving grandfather of Zarchary and Ariana .

He is the cherished son of Rafael and Rosa Chico Sr. and the adored brother of Rosa Chico, Carmen Chico, Manuel Chico, Rodolfo Chico and the late Maria Chico. He is the dear uncle of four nieces.

Rafael attended Blue Island grade schools and also Eisenhower High School. He loved to dance. Rafael enjoyed watching sports, especially wrestling. He was a fan of both the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cubs.

Visitation for Rafael will be held Monday, November 6, 2017, from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Chapel prayers will begin Tuesday at 9:00 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island, then to St. Benedict Church, 2339 York St., Blue Island, for mass at 10:00 am. Interment will take place at St. Benedict Cemetery, Crestwood.
