Obituary of Anita M Mendoza

Anita M. Mendoza nee Madrid, 98, of Blue Island. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis Mendoza, who passed away in 1986. Anita is the  loving mother of Caroline Reyes, Albert (Norma) Mendoza, Rita (Dave) Buckley, Raymond (Diane) Mendoza, the late Robert Mendoza, Alice (Daniel) Klaus, Louis Jr. (Jan) Mendoza, Frank Mendoza, Carmen (Jesse) Rivera, Phillip (Virginia) Mendoza, Theodore (Veronica) Mendoza and Christina (Alfredo) Esparza. She is the devoted grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother of many. Anita is the dear sister of Irene Grant and the late Abelino Madrid, Richard Madrid, Charlie Madrid, Tony Madrid, Raul Madrid and Marty Madrid Jr.

Anita was a former employee of St. Francis Hospital for thirty-seven years. She was a faithful member of St. Donatus Parish and was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. 

Visitation  for Anita will be held Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Chapel prayers will be conducted Friday, at 9:00 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island, then to St. Donatus Church, 1939 Union St., Blue Island, for mass at 10:00 am. Interment will be held at St. Benedict Cemetery, Crestwood.
