Santos Jimenez, 84, of Midlothian, passed from this life on June 17, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

He was born on April 29, 1942, in Aguascalientes, Mexico to the late Jose Maria Jimenez and the late Delfina Camacho.  Santos is the beloved husband of Teresa Jimenez (née Ramirez). United in marriage for fifty-seven years, together they built a loving family and shared a lifetime of cherished memories.

Santos is the loving father of ten children: Oracio (Edith), Argelia (Javier), Veronica, Kenny (Alcira), Isolta (Brian), Lin, Chuck (Holly), Tania, Jennifer (Bee), and Jesus.  He is the cherished grandfather of Brigi, Chema, Alex S. (Alyssa), Nancy (Jaime), Bella (Jaz), Alex T., Nico, Vale, Tere, Camis, Lucas, Gabby, Harry, Noah, Natalie, and Hunter. He is also the proud great-grandfather of Damian, Emiliano, Eliana, Ayden, Avery, Alaya, and Alivia.  Santos is a dear brother to the late Guadalupe (the late Vicente), Salvador, Josifina (Merced), Ester (the late Rafael), Amparo (Ampelio), the late Jose (Ofelia), Belen (Juan), Erasmo (Trini), Maricala (Everardo), and Imelda (the late Juan Manuel).  He is an uncle to many nieces and nephews, sharing a bond of great love and significance with Salva (Raquel), Chente (Magdalena), Martin (Chilo), Silvia (Ricardo), and Min Flores, who held a cherished place in his heart throughout the years. Santos also held a special place in his heart for his beloved pets: Lucrecia, Coco, Lola, Luna, Pablo, Lukey Blue, Chiqui, the late Orie, Archer, Nana, Gigi, Rayo Gatin, Luna G, and Chanele, whose companionship brought him much happiness over the years.

Visitation for Santos will be held on Monday, June 22, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a funeral service beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 Greenwood Avenue, Blue Island, Illinois.  Cremation is private.
