Angel Rodriguez, age 26, of Blue Island, passed away suddenly on June 10, 2026.

Born on November 23, 1999, in Harvey, Illinois, Angel is the beloved son of Olivia Nieves. He is the precious grandson of Elizabeth Cervantes and the late Santiago Cervantes.  Angel is the cherished brother of Alex Cisneros, Esmeralda Aguilar, and Edgar Jr. He is the loving nephew of Micaela Cervantes, Santiago Cervantes, Isaac Cervantes, Erica Cervantes, and Bernardo Cervantes. Angel is also a dear uncle to many nieces and nephews, a cousin to many, and leaves behind numerous other family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Angel's greatest joys in life were his love for music and his devotion to his family.  Music was a constant part of his life; he could always be found listening to it wherever he went. He enjoyed all kinds of music and was always open to listening to different types of music and discovering new genres. Above all else, Angel was extremely close to and supportive of his mother and siblings, sharing a bond with them that will never be forgotten.

Angel's kind heart, love, and unwavering support touched the lives of many. Though his time with us was far too short, the memories he created and the love he shared will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

Visitation for Angel will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 Greenwood Avenue, Blue Island, Illinois.

Cremation is private.
