Paul F. Herrmann, 94, of Chicago passed away peacefully on May 9, 2026.

Paul was born in Chicago, IL on August 5, 1931, to the late Fred Herrmann and the late Ethel Herrmann (née Paul). He was an only child.  Paul was the beloved husband of the late Phyllis M. Herrmann (née Nilles), who passed on November 26, 2021. He is the cherished father of Gail (Steve) McCullough and Jan (Eric) Bass, and the proud grandfather of four and great-grandfather of six.

From 1953 until 1957, Paul honorably served in the United States Air Force. He devoted his career to the American College of Surgeons as a programmer and data analyst, retiring in 1991. In his leisure, Paul enjoyed classical music and was an avid stamp collector.

Visitation for Paul will be held on Monday, May 11th from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 Greenwood Ave, Blue Island, IL. Cremation will be private.
