Obituary of Ronald Lanz

Ronald Lanz, age 78, of Flossmoor, passed from this life on June 8, 2025.

Ronald was the beloved husband of Jacquelyn G. Lanz (née Siedal) who passed away in 2017. Ronald is the loving father of John (Gina), Ronald (Susan), and Kevin (Kelly).  He is the cherished grandfather of Ashley (Craig) Johnson, Zachary (Abigail), Alexander, Christian, Lauren, and Camryn.  Ronald is the proud great-grandfather of Daisy Mae and Remington.  He was preceded in death by his siblings Diane (the late Gerald) Hansen and Dennis (Karen).  Ronald leaves many other family members and friends to cherish his memory.

Ronald was born on August 26, 1946 in Chicago, IL to the late Edward and the late Valeria Lanz (née Katavich).  Ronald was a proud member of the Romin’ Chariots car club and had a deep love for classic cars. He found great joy in boating and riding his Harley-Davidson, always embracing the freedom of the open road and the water.

Visitation for Ronald will be held at Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 Greenwood Avenue, Blue Island, on Saturday, June 14th from 8:30 AM until 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at St. Casimir Cemetery in Chicago, IL.
