Shirley J. Withers, 92 (née Faden), formerly of Blue Island, passed peacefully from this life on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
Shirley was the beloved wife of Richard Withers who passed away January 13, 2023. The couple were united in marriage for sixty-eight years. She is the loving mother of Gary (Lori) Withers and Linda (Doug) Ackerson. Shirley is the devoted grandmother of Beverly, Drew, and Amelia and the proud great grandmother of Oliver and Hayden. Shirley leaves many other family members and friends to cherish her memory.
Shirley was born March 8, 1933 in Blue Island to the late Helen and the late William Faden. Shirley attended local grade schools and Blue Island High School.
Interment will take place at First Ev. Lutheran Cemetery in Alsip.
