Obituary of Darlene Rieman-Mislich
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Darlene Rieman-Mislich, a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, who passed away on January, 31, 2025 at the age of 68.
Darlene was born June 23, 1956 in Blue Island, IL to the late Edward and the late Shirley Giordano. She is the beloved wife of Jeff Mislich. Darlene is the devoted mother of Darlene (John) Kruse, Carrie (Brett) Johnstone, Stacy (Gary) Allen, Blair (Melanie) Mislich, Tammy Mislich, and Bullet Mislich (her canine son). Darlene is the cherished grandmother of Jacob Kruse, Tyler Kruse, Jaxson Johnstone, Hailey Johnstone, Amber Allen, Riley Allen, Tatum Mislich, and Finn Mislich. She is the dear sister of Frank (Connie) Giordano, Edward (Denise) Giordano, and the late Irene Giordano. Darlene is the loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. She leaves many other dear family members and friends to cherish her memory.
Darlene was a woman who devoted her life to her family. She was a constant source of love, support, and guidance to her children, grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. She found comfort and joy in warm family gatherings, or a peaceful moment spent with her beloved Bullet.
As a Legacy Distributor and Team Leader with Tupperware, she spent many years cultivating not only a successful business but also a thriving team. Her Tupperware team was her second family, and she found immense joy in helping others achieve success and personal growth. Darlene touched the lives of many through her Tupperware parties, which she hosted in homes across the community. These parties were more than just an opportunity to purchase quality products; they were a chance to connect, share laughs, and build lasting relationships.
A celebration of Darlene’s life will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the Chicago South Elks Lodge #1596, 4428 Midlothian Turnpike, Crestwood, IL.
