Obituary of Marilyn Bohne

Dorothy Marilyn Bohne nee Farmer, 90, passed from this life Thursday, January 2, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard W. Bohne, who passed away September 17, 2017. The couple were united in marriage for almost 69 years. Marilyn is the loving mother and proud grandmother of the following families: Lynne (the late Ted) Howalt, their children, Tracy (Garrett) and Teddy, Joann (Bob) Doubrawa, their children Larry (Sabryna), Robbie, Libby, Lulu, Taisha and August, Pam (Don) Smith, their children, Bobbi Lee (Justin) and Joel, Rick (Carolyn) Bohne, their children, Rick (Casey), Carissa, Jim (Mea) and Derek, and the cherished great grandmother of ten. She is the dear sister of Jill Fico and the late Richard Farmer. Marilyn lived most of her life in Palos Heights. She also lived in Summit Lake, WI for many years. Marilyn was devoted to her family and loved nothing more than spending time with them. She also enjoyed golf and spent many years on the golf course with her friends. Visitation for Marilyn will be held Monday, January 6, 2020, from 3:00 pm until 8:00pm. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, at 10:00 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Interment will take place at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery, Oak Lawn.
