Angeline Ann Angelino nee Skop, 102, of Blue Island, passed from this life April 6, 2021. She was born on April 14, 1918, in Chicago and was one of 13 children born to Peter and Frances Skop. Her siblings included Anna (John) Klimowski, Mary (Thomas) Lewicki, Sophie (John) Adams, Rozalia (Frank) Chiaro, Anastasia (John) Wargo, Helen (Gerald) Fitzpatrick, Irene Skop, Dolores Skop, Frances Skop, Elizabeth (Thomas) Denvit, John (Dorothy) Skop and Erwin Skop. All of her siblings and parents preceded her in death. Angeline was a life-long member of St. Donatus Church in Blue Island, IL and served in The Mother’s Club and was also a member of the Altar Society. For many years she was a hairdresser in Blue Island and enjoyed nothing more than an evening at a casino in the area. Angeline was married to Blaise Martin Angelino on April 12, 1943. He preceded her in death on January 29, 1995. She is survived by her two sons Blaise "Bill" Angelino and Robert "Bob" Angelino and his wife, Marian (Kerekgyarto) Angelino, grandson Christopher Angelino, his partner, Elisa Fernandez and their children (great-grandchildren) Gabriel Blaise Angelino and Angelica Lylith Angelino. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021, from 9:30 am until time of chapel prayers at 11:15 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Followed by Mass of Christian burial at 12:00 noon at St. Donatus Church, 1939 Union St., Blue Island. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip, IL.
