Obituary of Carmella R Schulte

Carmella R. Schulte nee Pellegrino, 94, of Blue Island, passed from this life on December 25, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald Schulte, who passed away May 19, 1992.

Carmella is the loving mother of Donald (Laura) Schulte and the late Marcia Busby. She was the devoted grandmother of James (Jacquelyn) Schulte, Christopher (Kathryn) Schulte, Patrick (Jordan) Schulte, Justin (Julie) Busby and the late Nicole Busby. Carmella is the proud great grandmother of Daniel Schulte, Ryan Schulte, Sienna Busby and Jacob Schulte. She is the dear sister of Marylu Brown, Louise Travis and the late Robert Pellegrino and George Pellegrino.

Carmella was formerly employed as Vice-President of Executive Banking of Continental Bank of Chicago. She was also a member of the Womens' Auxiliary of St. Francis Hospital.

Visitation for Carmella will be held Friday, December 29, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Chapel prayers will begin Saturday at 9:00 am, at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island, then to St. Benedict Church for mass at 10:00 am. Interment will take place at First Ev. Lutheran Cemetery, Alsip.
