Obituary of Joan C. Klein

Joan C. Klein, 80, of Calumet Park. Beloved wife of the late Robert M. Klein. Loving mother of Debra (Thomas) Linn and Kirk Klein. Devoted grandmother of Joseph (Danielle) Linn, Michael Linn and Mattie (Eric) Boyer, cherished great grandmother of Jackson Boyer and Arya Linn, dear sister of Joyce Brown, David Brizic and the late Jack Brennan. Joan was a seventy year resident of Calumet Park. She was formerly employed by Calumet School, where she worked in the lunchroom for many years. Joan was a member of the American Legion Post 1156 Womens Auxiliary and the Calumet Township Senior Center. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Joan enjoyed dancing, especially line dancing. She liked to have a good time, and always saw the best in others. Visitation for Joan will be held Thursday, August 18, 2016, from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Avenue, Blue Island. A private interment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
